Langelle Social Documentary Photography provides an historical look at social movements, struggle and everyday life. Our images expose truths that directly challenge the historical and societal amnesia resulting from the officially sanctioned version of reality that supports and entrenches the current systems of injustice, while disempowering people from changing them.

By showcasing photographs documenting “people’s history” and struggles for justice spanning more than five decades across six continents, we challenge the dominant narrative that the system cannot be changed, providing an educational resource for today’s critically important movements for change.

Your support ensures this critical educational resource keeps these histories alive.

----------------------------

Our work is not merely a chronicling of history, but a call out to inspire new generations to participate in the making of a new history. For there has been no time when such a call has been so badly needed.

HE WHO CONTROLS THE PAST CONTROLS THE FUTURE. HE WHO CONTROLS THE PRESENT CONTROLS THE PAST.” – George Orwell, 1984
